The Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill today celebrated its transformation into the new and elegant Philadelphia Marriott Old City with a grand opening celebration. The hotel was completely renovated by Clemens Construction Company, with Senior Project Manager, Anthony Faranda and Mike Kaminski, Senior Superintendent leading the project. Clemens work modernized the four-story, 364-room hotel to include renewal of the ballroom, 17,000 square-foot meeting space surrounded by breakout rooms and three outdoor patios. In addition, an indoor pool was in-filled to expand the fitness center to a spacious 4,000 square feet. The hotel also features an elaborate reception area with a new bar and M Club Lounge. Adding to the complexity of the project, all of the renovations were completed while the hotel remained operational, assuring that their guests were not disturbed.
