Conversion of an existing 17-story building from commercial office space to 180 apartments and three retail spaces on the ground floor - Wells Fargo Branch Bank, Wendy’s and Dunkin’ Donuts. The two restaurants required renovations and completely new interior fit-outs before they could each move into their respective homes, which required close coordination of logistics to execute overnight to avoid a lapse in operations from existing adjacent locations.
The project was complicated as it had to be coordinated seamlessly with the extensive renovations occurring simultaneously in the apartment units above. Both stores received new infrastructure and structural elements including facade and stairs. Wendy’s also required the installation of their brand new, modern kitchen - one of the first in the country.
