Clemens Special Projects Division has provided general contracting services for more than 50 capital improvement and special projects at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, located within the landmark PSFS Building. Working in continuously occupied conditions, our team supports the hotel’s evolving operational and guest experience needs through carefully sequenced, minimally disruptive renovations.
Most recently, Clemens completed comprehensive renovations to the 2nd and 33rd floor public, meeting, and event spaces, including new carpet, tile, wall coverings, paint, custom lighting fixtures and controls, restroom upgrades, and the installation of owner-provided furniture and artwork. Clemens Millshop also designed and fabricated a custom ceiling trellis and column wraps for the 33rd Floor Terrace room, adding distinctive architectural features to the revitalized space. Additional projects have included lobby video wall and lighting improvements, vestibule door replacements, marble cladding and illuminated signage in common areas, prefunction ceiling renovations, and full renovations of the Millennium Ballroom, Governor’s Suite, and Bridal Suites—each delivered with precise coordination in an active hotel environment.
