Clemens Construction’s Special Projects Division managed the comprehensive renovation of a three-story retail building at the corner of 17th and Walnut Streets. The structure was divided into two distinct spaces: the basement and ground floor were fully fit-out for Aritzia, a luxury women’s clothing retailer, while the second and third floors were delivered as white box spaces for future retail tenants. The scope of work included selective demolition, excavation, underpinning, the installation of a four-stop elevator, stair reconfiguration, a new brick façade and storefront, and all-new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
