Clemens Wins a Grand Jury Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia

Clemens Construction was part of the team recognized with a Grand Jury Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia for our work on the A. Mecky Company Building, now a fully-integrated part of the new Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School.

Along with building the entire campus, our Carpentry Division did the critical early and dangerous work which included the installation of 20+ new heavy timbers in the Mecky Building to assure its stability and to preserve it for its new use. This restored old tricycle factory is now the cornerstone of a fabulous new high school.

The team included Clemens Construction Company; Blackney Hayes Architects; Architerra; Bala Consulting Engineers; Bernardon; Berkshire Construction Management; O’Donnell & Naccarato; Metropolitan Acoustics; Nash Design; Powers & Company, Inc.; Stantec

Well done, team!
