Clemens Construction is currently leading a comprehensive renovation of the Sheraton University City, a 20-story, 380,000 square-foot, 332-room full-service hotel originally built in 1974 and operated by Penn Business Services’ hospitality division. This transformative project encompasses the full renovation of all guest rooms and corridors, aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience. The scope includes tub-to-shower conversions, new lighting, carpet, wall coverings, paint, drapery, case goods, and furnishings—delivering a fresh, modernized look throughout the hotel.
In addition to the interior upgrades, the renovation includes significant plumbing, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure improvements to increase building performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. The project also addresses critical repairs to the building’s façade and parking garage, ensuring long-term structural integrity and improved curb appeal. Clemens Construction is committed to delivering a revitalized Sheraton University City that meets the evolving needs of guests while reinforcing its status as a premier destination in the heart of University City.
