Clemens Construction completed a high-end renovation of the 2000 Market Street lobby in Center City Philadelphia. The refreshed double-height space now features an illuminated wall of Nestos marble, sleek elevator banks, a serene seating area, and a striking chandelier of suspended glass spheres. Despite a two-month pandemic-related delay, the team mobilized quickly and delivered the project ahead of schedule. Clemens coordinated closely with building management to maintain safe access for tenants, shifting pedestrian flow to the rear of the building and reserving elevators during business hours. Night work, including self-leveling concrete and tile installation, ensured uninterrupted operations.
In addition to the lobby, Clemens completed interior fit-outs of the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of the building. These spec suites were transformed with new flooring, glass partitions, ceiling tiles, casework, paint, and lighting, creating bright and modern office environments. Each floor was fully furnished and designed to appeal to prospective tenants, with upgraded finishes throughout. Additional improvements were made to the existing elevator lobbies, corridors, and restrooms, enhancing the overall quality and cohesion of the building’s interior spaces.
