Clemens transformed 1701 Market Street, a 500,000 SF, 18-story, 1950’s office building, into a premier 299-unit residential tower. This adaptive reuse project preserved elements of the original limestone façade while introducing larger operable windows, screening at the podium level, vertical façade columns, and a rooftop sky frame. Designed for wellness, the project features premium amenities such as a saltwater pool, club room, fitness center, sauna, golf simulator, cold plunge, pickleball courts, and more—while capitalizing on rare direct access to the Concourse. Clemens’ expertise in complex urban renovations redefines this Market East flagship and sets a new standard for conversions.
